NETGEAR showcased new ruggedized switches and an anywhere, anytime network configuration setup at ISE 2026.

The company presented two IP switches from its M4350 series at the show, along with the latest version of the NETGEAR Engage™ Controller.

These new releases directly address the specific needs of audiovisual and broadcast integrators: hardware designed for real-world conditions, increased bandwidth for growing installations, and the ability to design and configure networks even before arriving on site.

The M4350-16M4V switch features industry-standard Neutrik® locking connectors: etherCON® for networking, opticalCON® for fiber, and powerCON® for power. This prevents connections from coming loose during setup or failing mid-show. The M4350-16M4V also offers 16 2.5G PoE++ ports (up to 1,130W total) and four 25G SFP28 uplinks, with four modular slots for interface cards that allow uplink connectivity to be configured exactly to requirements.

The M4350-16C model addresses performance challenges in large-scale AV-over-IP deployments by providing 16 100G connectivity ports. Designed for aggregation and core layers where multiple high-resolution video streams converge, the M4350-16C delivers the bandwidth integrators require.

With these two new models, the M4350 portfolio now totals 18 switches, covering 1G to 100G, with high-power PoE++, modular redundant power supplies, and SMPTE ST 2110 synchronization support. TAA-compliant versions are also available for government projects. The models will be available in March 2026.

NETGEAR Engage Controller 2.4: hardware-free configuration, anywhere

Version 2.4 of the NETGEAR Engage Controller network configuration software, available in February, introduces offline provisioning, allowing integrators to create virtual switches and WiFi 7 access points, design complete networks, and test configurations without physically having the hardware on hand.

Before arriving on site, the network is already built. Users simply export the configurations, connect the devices, and deploy. In addition, configurations can be saved as reusable templates for similar projects.

Integrators told us what their biggest pain points were: too much time on site, cables coming loose at critical moments, and networks that are difficult to scale. We listened. Offline provisioning makes it possible to configure networks from anywhere and deploy them in minutes. Neutrik connectors ensure nothing comes unplugged.
