Renkus-Heinz presented a new subwoofer and control software in an immersive demo room at ISE 2026.

At the event, Renkus-Heinz officially launched the new ICLX-48S subwoofer and unveiled a preview of its highly anticipated RHAON 3 control software. An immersive demo room highlighted how the company’s precision loudspeaker technology addressed acoustic challenges across a range of real-world environments.

ISE 2026 marked the official launch of the ICLX-48S column subwoofer, following its initial announcement at InfoComm 2025. Visitors were able to see how this compact system delivers low-frequency extension and musicality typically associated with much larger subwoofers.

This low-frequency solution expands the flagship IC Live X Series of steerable modular arrays and features a matching vertical format. The ICLX-48S can be flown or wall-mounted alongside ICLX arrays in a single unified column, enabling integrators to deliver high-performance full-range sound systems in a space-saving design.

Complementing this hardware launch, Renkus-Heinz also introduced a significant software advancement with RHAON 3. This fully redesigned control and monitoring platform offers a faster, more intuitive and future-ready experience thanks to a new interface and an optimised workflow.

The software integrates the proprietary OmniBeam algorithm, transforming what was once a complex beam-steering system configuration process into a single-click action. Visitors to the Renkus-Heinz stand were able to experience live demonstrations of how the Snap to Audience feature generates tailored sound in a matter of seconds.

The E8 demo room delivered an immersive listening experience, allowing attendees to experience precision sound technology in action. Using active acoustics from technology partner Amadeus Acoustics, combined with immersive storytelling, the room transported visitors to different acoustic spaces, demonstrating how Renkus-Heinz’s directional technology delivers exceptional clarity even in the most demanding environments, from concert halls to transport hubs.

The demo room featured the flagship IC Live X Series of steerable modular arrays, the UBX Series with passive beam-steering, and the versatile C Series range of point-source loudspeakers, showcasing the breadth of the Renkus-Heinz portfolio and the importance of selecting the right tool for each application.
