At ISE 2026, attendees had access to the most extensive content programme ever offered by the show.
This covered key topics in the professional audiovisual industry, from artificial intelligence to sustainability and Broadcast AV.
Six half-day Summits, produced —as in the last three years— by AVIXA, ISE’s co-owner, explored strategic issues in greater depth. In addition, as a new feature this year, the Megatrends programme offered a more flexible way to explore the most relevant challenges.
ISE brought together a wide diversity of audiovisual professionals from around the world; each person had different interests and objectives in their experience at the show. When developing the content programme with AVIXA and other partners, different formats and levels of depth were used to meet those needs. For example, the Megatrends programme was created in response to demand for brief assessments of rapidly changing trends, with the flexibility to dip in and out between other event activities. Individual sessions lasted between 20 and 40 minutes and highlighted key developments in AI, cybersecurity, robotics, smart spaces, sustainability and TradeScape (regulation and tariffs), explained Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events.
Key Megatrends speakers included Karsten Marijnissen (Incentro), who delivered a masterclass on how to successfully adopt agentic AI in a business; Rich Mulholland (Missing Link), who shared how professionals can help their teams stand out by embracing emerging technologies; and Marjolein Koens-Schadalee, who explained how to achieve measurable return on investment through smart space design guided by sustainability.
The six half-day Summits offered an in-depth analysis of cybersecurity, control rooms, smart buildings, broadcast AV, digital signage and education technology. These sessions featured real-world case studies, innovative strategies and expert-led discussions.
One of the most common comments, especially among first-time attendees, has been the need for more support to help them navigate the show. For this reason, this year the tours programme was the most extensive to date, with daily tours such as ‘New to ISE’ and ‘Megatrends’, as well as guided visits focused on education technology and broadcast AV, plus two external tours dedicated to cybersecurity and control rooms, added Blackman.
