Bang & Olufsen returns to Casa Decor 2025, which hosts the 60th edition of this interior design exhibition.
This time, the Danish brand reaffirms its legacy of innovation, design, and artisanal excellence with a space that goes beyond mere functionality: it is an artistic, immersive, and emotional experience where sound is the absolute protagonist. Under the concept Atelier Art Gallery, the Bang & Olufsen space, designed by the renowned interior designer José Lara, fuses art, technology, and design into a sensory proposal that elevates residential audio to a new dimension.
Casa Decor has established itself as one of the most relevant platforms for interior design in Europe. Held annually in an iconic building in the center of Madrid, each edition brings together the leading design studios, architects, manufacturers, and premium brands, presenting their latest proposals in carefully designed ephemeral spaces. More than an exhibition, Casa Decor is a laboratory of ideas, a showcase of what is to come in materials, aesthetics, technology, and sustainability in contemporary living.
In this context, high-fidelity audio—traditionally relegated to a functional role—takes on a new prominence. Bang & Olufsen transforms it into a central element of luxury interior design, demonstrating that sound can also be a vehicle for art, identity, and well-being. In a market where design is as important as the experience, residential HIFI is reinvented as an emotional and decorative piece, naturally integrated into sophisticated environments.
The Danish brand exclusively presents its Atelier initiative, a collection that allows users to customize their speakers with unique finishes, vibrant colors, and noble materials. Each piece thus becomes a work of art, with its own soul and inimitable character. This vision redefines the traditional concept of luxury: it is not only about technical quality, but also about aesthetic adaptability, turning each device into a reflection of the style and sensibility of its owner.

In Atelier Art Gallery, Bang & Olufsen demonstrates how its devices transcend purely sonic aspects to integrate as functional sculptures. Technology blends with craftsmanship, and design aligns with emotion, in a presentation that stimulates the senses.
José Lara, one of the most recognized emerging talents in Spanish design, has envisioned a space divided into two areas: an exhibition hall where a multisensory performance of light, sound, and image is presented; and an immersive area where the details of the Atelier collection are explored. The space’s architecture has been carefully treated with sound-absorbing materials recycled from Creavalo, ensuring optimal and controlled acoustics.
The lighting design, based on Lutron systems, recreates different atmospheres to complement each sound piece. 3D-printed podiums by Nagami elevate the speakers as if they were sculptures, while skylights—also designed by Lara’s studio—project reflections and shadows that evoke the shapes of sound.
The project pays homage to the materials that have accompanied Bang & Olufsen’s history: polished steel, walnut wood, and high-end textiles are elegantly integrated into the space. Custom KP carpets inspired by the legendary Beogram turntable, textiles from Misia that add warmth, and furniture specially designed by Lara compose an atmosphere where every element tells a story.
References to the sonic universe multiply in the details: sofas reminiscent of the CD era, handcrafted bookshelves, textured doors in collaboration with Grupo Seys and Proma... all designed to envelop the visitor in a coherent and sophisticated visual and acoustic narrative.
Bang & Olufsen at Casa Decor 2025 not only displays products, but also poses a reflection: what if the luxury of sound lies not only in how it is heard, but also in how it is seen and how it makes us feel? In this space, technology and emotion join hands, demonstrating that the future of residential HIFI audio lies in aesthetic integration, extreme customization, and a sensory experience. And in that conversation, Bang & Olufsen speaks with its own voice.
