New videoconferencing system, along with advanced sound solutions and acoustic treatment.

Present in more than 70 countries, the Allianz Group was established in Portugal in 1999 following the merger of Portugal Previdente and the centennial Sociedade Portuguesa de Seguros and from its inception has developed a strong presence in Portugal.

Evidence of this is the building of its headquarters in Lisbon and the extensive audiovisual overhaul carried out in its auditorium. A space that Allianz wanted to redesign to offer conferences, hybrid meetings and events with great video and audio capture capabilities, and a flexible lighting system.

For this project, the integrator Garrett Audiovisuais trusted Sony and carried out an overhaul of the auditorium, including two SRG-X120 cameras, the Sony RM-IP500 camera controller and the VPL-FHZ91L projector, as well as a new sound system and acoustic treatment.

Technology at the service of the customer

Allianz Portugal was looking to incorporate a new audiovisual solution in its auditorium, a space designed for conferences and events that needed to be modernized to include videoconferencing and live streaming capabilities.

With this objective, the integrator Garrett took on the task of redesigning the auditorium, managing to create an environment that fully meets the current needs and expectations of Allianz.

The system includes two Sony SRG-X120 cameras, which, manually controlled using the RM-IP500 PTZ, allow for capturing fixed angles of the audience without the need for automatic tracking. Likewise, projection is ensured thanks to the VPL-FHZ91L projector with 3LCD technology, whose powerful 13,000-lumen output guarantees high-quality presentations even in well-lit spaces. Finally, an existing 75” Sony monitor, integrated into the system and managed via a control desk, either in manual or assisted mode.

"We wanted to renovate our auditorium and equip it with an audio and video capture system capable of transmitting in high resolution. The solution installed by Garrett Audiovisuais using the provided SONY equipment allowed us to achieve this goal", comments the Allianz project director who closely supervised the installation.

It was an interesting project from the beginning and challenging at the same time. We had to adapt some of the equipment to make them easier to use. The Sony cameras with the remote control accessory made this solution a real success.
