The Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre is located in Whitefield, Bangalore, and is one of the most prestigious medical centers in India. To efficiently manage communications across a large campus, the Vydehi Institute needed a reliable and certified public address system that ensured the clear dissemination of routine messages and emergency alerts. For this purpose, they relied on the OPTIMUS solutions provided by their partner in India, TSG.

Implementation of EN54-certified OPTIMUS public address solutions

In Building 1 of the institute, the COMPACT system was installed along with four Class D power amplifiers to feed the speakers, which provide acoustic coverage in 12 different zones. This system is complemented by a DC-700ETH/T console, facilitating precise and reliable control of both emergency and routine hospital communications.

For Building 2, the innovative COMPACT Lite system was installed—a compact and powerful solution—along with two high-efficiency, high-performance Class D amplifiers for 5 speaker zones. This system also includes a DC-700ETH/T console for effective communication management.

The supplied systems comply with the international EN54 standard, ensuring maximum reliability and safety in highly demanding environments such as hospitals and healthcare centers.
