AUO Display Plus launched integrated solutions at ISE 2026 to redefine retail through sustainable innovation.
Under the theme Design Without Limits, ADP showcased its AecoRetail suite, which includes AecoPost and AecoTag, with the aim of providing retailers with smart, energy-efficient display solutions that increased customer engagement and reduced environmental impact. By presenting a full range of ePaper displays at ISE, ADP demonstrated how these solutions adapted to real-world point-of-sale applications.
At ISE 2026, we didn’t just show products: we presented a vision of immersive, eco-friendly and efficient retail. By combining cutting-edge display technology with software and complementary technologies, ADP enables retailers to create seamless and scalable experiences that captivate customers and optimise operations for greater ROI and sustainability, said SH Liao, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and General Manager of the Smart Retail Business Group at AUO Display Plus.

Focus on AecoRetail: maximising performance and sustainably reducing operating costs
- AecoPost – full-colour, cable-free ePaper solution
ADP highlighted AecoPost, a lightweight battery-powered ePaper signage solution designed for sustainable, long-lasting performance. Thanks to E Ink Spectra™ 6 technology and ADP’s proprietary AecoColor+ algorithm, AecoPost delivered richer colours and a paper-like viewing experience. It required no power to maintain a static image and, with a long-life built-in battery, ensured high visual impact with minimal consumption, providing simple and flexible installation without the need for cabling.
Content management was flexible. Businesses could manage content centrally across multiple locations via a cloud platform, integrate it with their own CMS through APIs, or use the dedicated mobile app for rapid deployment and on-the-go updates. With AecoPost, retailers streamlined operations by eliminating lengthy printing and distribution processes for traditional signage, significantly reducing costs, energy consumption and paper waste. This solution simplified in-store communication and improved engagement and sustainability with strong visual performance.
- AecoTag – sustainable ESL solution for modern retail
AecoTag was a cloud-based electronic shelf labelling (ESL) solution that enabled real-time, wireless price updates, dynamic promotions and centralised control across multiple locations.
Prices and content could be instantly synchronised from headquarters to stores, optimising in-store operations to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Designed for operational scalability, the system supported deployments of up to 4,000 AecoTag units, ensuring reliable performance in large-scale installations. Its ultra-low power consumption and long battery life helped reduce total cost of ownership, while also helping to cut paper waste and labour costs, meet sustainability targets and improve the customer experience.
End-to-end retail solutions and ecosystem partnerships
Beyond AecoRetail, ADP presented at ISE an expanded range of retail products, from ePaper, MicroLED and ultra-thin LCD signage to integrated CMS platforms. This offering combined advanced display hardware and intelligent software to deliver integrated, future-ready experiences for global retailers and connected environments.
Strategic partnership with E Ink
ADP’s commitment to sustainable display innovation was supported by its strategic partnership with E Ink. This collaboration enabled the integration of next-generation ePaper technology into its solutions. As proof of the potential of this partnership, E Ink’s striking 75” Color ePaper signage was featured at ADP’s booth during ISE, highlighting the enormous potential of large-format ePaper for advertising and information applications.
Both companies continued to drive the future of ePaper signage and continued collaborating to expand a more comprehensive portfolio aimed at global markets.
Building open and collaborative ecosystems
ADP was more than a technology innovator: it was a partner in creating open and collaborative ecosystems. By combining display hardware, scalable software platforms and a strong partner network, ADP delivered integrated solutions that supported different market verticals, such as retail, education, corporate, healthcare and others.
