Under the theme Ecosystem Evolution, HIVE outlined at ISE 2026 the next stage of its approach to simplifying and accelerating the integration of video, audio and lighting in immersive, live and commercial environments.
Strengthening an established ecosystem
Since the introduction of the Beeblade range, HIVE has focused on rethinking how high-performance media servers are deployed, shifting playback hardware from remote racks to the display itself.
At ISE 2026, the company highlighted how this ecosystem continues to evolve, with improvements in performance, efficiency and synchronization for distributed systems.
The exhibition featured the full Beeblade media engine range and its modular chassis, including Beeblade Nexus, an 8K60 media engine in SDM format, alongside recent software developments designed to unify playback, control and synchronization over the network.
From SDM to IP: the next step in multimedia evolution
Building on its SDM platform based on Intel Smart Display Module technology, HIVE extended its focus toward networked multimedia workflows, enabling creators and integrators to manage video, audio and lighting signals natively over IP.
Live demonstrations covered SMPTE 2110 video over IP and Dante audio over IP, illustrating how HIVE’s software stack delivered fully synchronized content over standard Ethernet, without relying on traditional routing complexity or dedicated timing hardware.
At the core of these demonstrations was Beesync, HIVE’s proprietary HDMI Genlock technology, which uses lightweight machine learning to predict and correct HDMI synchronization drift in real time, maintaining alignment across multiple outputs.
Ecosystem collaboration
HIVE solutions were also deployed across different areas of the exhibition venue, including collaborations with Panasonic, Epson and ROE Visual, reflecting the company’s integration-oriented approach to display and projection technologies.
A software-driven, connected future
The Ecosystem Evolution concept was presented as both consolidation and transition: reinforcing the existing platform while laying the groundwork for software-led, IP-native multimedia workflows.
