This feature, already available in the DT-700ETH and DT-800ETH microphone stations, enables fully bidirectional communication with SIP intercom devices, centralizing calls and simplifying operational management.
SIP as an interoperability standard
The SIP protocol (Session Initiation Protocol) is a widely adopted technology in voice over IP systems, ideal for open and scalable integrations. Until now, any SIP device could broadcast messages to the system speakers via SIP integration, and with this new update, OPTIMUS microphone stations can connect directly to standard SIP intercoms, reducing installation costs, maintenance, and system architecture complexity.
This integration allows any SIP device to broadcast messages directly to the public address and voice alarm system, whether COMPACT or OPTIMAX, ensuring a quick response to any eventuality.
Centralized communication and total control
The system not only allows receiving calls from SIP intercom points, but also manages their priority and destination. This means that in situations with multiple incidents, calls can be automatically organized according to their urgency level or location, enabling a faster and more effective response.
Communication is carried out in real time with full-duplex audio and is complemented by advanced features such as:
- Adjustable call tone and duration
- Silent monitoring of calls without direct intervention
- Point-to-point (P2P) calls or via SIP proxy
- Automatic call forwarding
- Remote access control via DTMF tones
All of this is managed from a single interface, making it easier for technical or security staff to use and minimizing response times in any emergency.
