Datapath and VITEC demonstrated a complete control room workflow at InfoComm Latin America.
At InfoComm Latin America 2026, Datapath, a VITEC company, combined its control room management technology with VITEC's IP video distribution solutions for the first time. Both companies delivered a live demonstration of a complete workflow.
The inaugural InfoComm Latin America established itself as an excellent meeting place for the region's professional AV community, and this year provided an ideal opportunity to demonstrate how Datapath and VITEC technologies complement one another. By combining advanced control room management solutions, AV-over-IP technologies and streaming systems, we were able to demonstrate a complete workflow that enabled customers to securely distribute, visualise and manage video across complex environments, said Rafael Herrera, Regional Sales Manager LATAM at Datapath.

From camera to video wall
The demonstration began with a live video feed captured by a camera installed on the stand. The signal was encoded and transmitted across the network using a VITEC MGW Diamond-H encoder before being decoded by a VITEC Ace Decoder.
The content was displayed through Aetria, Datapath's control room management platform, which integrates video wall management, video source control and operator workflows in control rooms of any size.
Meanwhile, Aetria Workstation and Aligo Workstation demonstrated how operators can access, control and manage multiple sources and systems connected to the network from their workstations.
This joint demonstration illustrated the complete journey of a video signal, from capture and transmission to visualisation and management within a control room environment.
VITEC IP video distribution
VITEC also showcased its latest low-latency video encoding, streaming and decoding technologies, developed for professional AV applications and mission-critical environments.
The solutions on display included the MGW Diamond-H encoder, Diamond C1 chassis, Ace Decoder OG, Ace Decoder and EP6 endpoint.
These technologies demonstrated the capabilities of video distribution over IP networks and their integration with Datapath's management and visualisation systems.
The combined solutions from both companies are designed for control rooms, security operations centres, corporate environments, utilities, transportation networks and other mission-critical applications across Latin America.
Through this demonstration, Datapath and VITEC showed how their respective technologies can be integrated into a single workflow to facilitate the distribution, visualisation and management of multiple video signals in complex professional installations.
