Equipson has recently announced the launch of new control panels under the WORK PRO brand. What market needs do you seek to cover with the WAC 4, WAC 8, WCi1R and WCi8 models?

The new WAC series products continue the evolution of the renowned WAC 7, incorporating 8” and 4” versions, both with increased power and optimized features. These improvements are further enhanced by the Work Pro Launcher software, which ensures seamless integration with all our applications. Additionally, the Integra series is strengthened with the incorporation of two new WC line controls, designed to expand and optimize control solutions in professional environments.

The integration of touch screens in WAC models and compatibility with applications such as Integra and WORKCAD suggests a commitment to usability and connectivity. How do these advances facilitate the user experience and the work of integrators?

Thanks to the integrated Work Pro Launcher software, installers will have quick and centralized access to system configuration, covering all connectivity functions and advanced customization options.

PoE power and compatibility with European connection boxes stand out in these products. To what extent do these aspects improve flexibility and ease of installation compared to previous solutions?

PoE simplifies installation and reduces costs, while compatibility with European boxes streamlines integration. Additionally, the WCi8 is adapted for the American market, increasing its versatility.

Regarding the new WCi1R and WCi8 panels, what types of facilities and customers will benefit the most from these more compact, physical button solutions?

The WCi1R is designed for installations such as hotels, where aesthetics are fundamental, and it stands out with black and anodized gray versions. On the other hand, the WCi8 is intended for users who require a more intuitive and quick control solution, thanks to its highly visible buttons—ideal for hospitals, care homes, and schools.

Talking about the Integra series, they have introduced three new models: Integra 16S, Integra 4SA and Integra 8SA. What was the main challenge in developing these new products and what key advantages do they offer over previous versions?

The new series with Integra 4SA and Integra 8SA offers new possibilities in a single device, integrating amplifier modules with quick access to control each of the 4 or 8 outputs in their respective models. Additionally, the new Integra 16 meets the demand of customers who, while satisfied with the popular Integra 8S, need more outputs and greater versatility for more complex installations.

The introduction of arrays with integrated amplification in the Integra 4SA and Integra 8SA models seems to be a very practical solution for integrators. How does this impact the reduction of costs and installation times?

Installation in systems requiring amplification is now faster than ever, ensuring signal flow and protecting it from malfunctions or noise. Moreover, we should not forget that we also offer pre-amplified signals for expansion, if desired.

We know that the Integra 16S doubles the capacity of the well-known Integra 8S, offering 16 inputs and 16 outputs. What sectors or applications demanded this greater audio processing and management capacity?

We can cite two examples, among many, that require a larger number of ports. The first corresponds to installations where stereo signals are predominant, both for input and output. The second is scenarios where multiple inputs must be managed, such as conference microphones, using the automix function to optimize control.

One of the highlights of the new release is the renewal of the Integra series software. What are the most important improvements in this update and how have you incorporated feedback from integrators?

After more than a year of listening to our customers, usability improvements, combined with the new design, play a crucial role in these new versions. Additionally, functions and connectivity possibilities with third-party systems have been optimized. The integration of TCP control through its layouts or control panels is one of the main new features.
