The modernization of airports in Uruguay is progressing steadily, with the aim of improving the country's connectivity.
At OPTIMUS S.A., through the local distributor EPUGNER, we are proud to contribute to this ambitious project by supplying public address and voice alarm solutions that enhance connectivity and security in key terminals such as Paysandú, Melo, Durazno, Rivera, Salto, Carmelo, and Montevideo.
All these terminals are part of the development and modernization plan for the National System of International Airports managed by Aeropuertos Uruguay, which aims to raise security standards and revitalize airport infrastructure in the country.
OPTIMUS technology for Uruguay's airports
In these projects, OPTIMUS has supplied a range of high-quality equipment designed to meet the demands of each airport:
- MAV-500Z6 Amplifier (500 W): Ideal for ensuring clear and powerful sound coverage in large spaces.
- PJ-20 Acoustic Projectors: Perfect for providing excellent sound dispersion in specific areas.
- SMM-8SB Message Player: Among our highlighted solutions is this module, which allows the sending of up to 100 audio MP3 messages to the public address system with scheduled programming, control of 8 zones, and the ability to broadcast messages composed of 1, 2, or 3 different audio files. A compact device, ideal for transmitting pre-recorded messages and ensuring effective and constant communication.
In the case of Carrasco International Airport in Montevideo, OPTIMUS contributed to its accessibility by supplying several signage equipment for restrooms, including components of the SMC system such as the LP-2LF or the CC-119F.
One aspect that distinguishes OPTIMUS is its ability to offer solutions tailored to any type of airport, from large international terminals to smaller airports. Their systems are efficient and easy to install, making them the ideal partner for projects of various scales.
