SIMO EDUCACIÓN will celebrate its 12th edition from November 11 to 13 under the theme Leadership for Educational Transformation. Organized by IFEMA MADRID, the exhibition will bring together over 50 presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and success stories aimed specifically at management teams, heads of innovation, ICT coordinators, education authorities, and other decision-makers in schools.
Over three days, teachers, universities, experts, and specialized companies will share experiences and tools to tackle key challenges in modern education—from artificial intelligence integration to teacher well-being, inclusion, and digital citizenship. Developed in collaboration with EDUCACIÓN 3.0, this edition's agenda offers a practical, cross-cutting overview of the trends shaping the evolution of educational centers.
SIMO DIRECTORES expands its program across all three days of the fair
One of the flagship spaces in this edition will be SIMO DIRECTORES, which expands its programming to cover all three days of the exhibition with content focused on building strong organizational cultures, team leadership, change management, and data-driven decision-making.
This space will feature prominent professionals including Enrique Escandón Sánchez, specialist in educational leadership and organizational culture; Javier Luna, General Director of Colegio Cristo Rey and expert in leadership and team management; Jorge Calvo, Director of Innovation and Analytics at Colegio Europeo de Madrid; Elvira López Palomeque, specialist in educational marketing and artificial intelligence; and Alberto and Mario Herráez from Etwinz Education.
Artificial intelligence and leadership to face new educational challenges
Artificial intelligence will play a prominent role in the SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2026 program. Keynote sessions will address aspects such as AI governance, pedagogical applications, assessment, critical thinking, data culture, and evidence-based decision-making.
Featured sessions include proposals such as The Challenge of Teaching to Think in the Age of AI, led by Carlos Magro Mazo, President of Association Educación Abierta, and How to Implement Artificial Intelligence in an Educational Center: A Practical Guide for Management Teams, delivered by Vicent Gadea, consultant and trainer specializing in AI applied to education.
Teacher well-being, inclusion, and responsible screen use
The agenda will also feature dedicated presentations on teacher well-being, addressing topics such as school organization, connecting with students, and fostering healthier learning environments.
Speakers include Mariano Fernández Enguita, sociologist and honorary professor at Universidad Complutense, who will explore new technology-supported teacher collaboration models; Víctor Arufe Giráldez, professor at Universidade da Coruña, who will analyze strategies to improve well-being and classroom learning; Eli Delacour, specialist in emotional intelligence; and Teresa Giménez Arenas, technical educational advisor at the Baix Llobregat Nord Pedagogical Resources Center.
In addition, inclusion, computational thinking, and responsible screen use stand out as key themes on the schedule. Highlights include Javier Pereira Loureiro, professor at Universidade da Coruña and deputy director of CITIC, presenting the Inclusive Talents project; Elena Vercher Ribis sharing proposals to promote gender equity through creative coding; and Camino López, professor at Universidad Fernando III, addressing media literacy and critical social media use in educational environments.

Alongside its content program, SIMO EDUCACIÓN will once again gather a wide range of companies specializing in technology, innovation, and solutions for the educational field. The exhibition will showcase the latest developments, tools, and resources tailored to all educational stages and the professionals responsible for implementing them in schools.
Furthermore, the event will host the 14th Educational Innovation and Innovative Teaching Experiences Awards, consolidating its position as a showcase for projects, initiatives, and best practices that drive more innovative, inclusive, and future-connected education. The call for entries remains open until July 15.
From November 11 to 13, the educational sector will gather once again at IFEMA MADRID, where in-person activities will be complemented by discussion spaces such as SIMO EDUCACIÓN TALKS and the digital platform Live Connect, facilitating professional networking, lead generation, and access to specialized content before, during, and after the event.
