Televés strengthens its position in the Hospitality sector with 130 projects and 19,000 digitalised rooms in Spain.

Televés’ Hospitality division continues to strengthen its presence in the national market with a total of 130 projects carried out over the past year, enabling the deployment of advanced technology in 18,897 rooms across different types of buildings linked to accommodation and guest services.

 

This level of activity confirms the progressive maturity of Televés’ technological offering for Hospitality, as well as the sector’s growing confidence in network architectures and audiovisual services capable of meeting the new connectivity and entertainment expectations of the digital guest.

 

The company also reaches an average of 145 rooms per project, reflecting its ability to undertake medium- and large-scale installations.

 

Hotels lead the technological transformation of accommodation

An analysis by building type highlights the strong prominence of the hotel segment. Hotels account for 85 projects, totalling 13,564 equipped rooms, positioning them as the main driver for the adoption of advanced technological solutions offered by the Galician multinational.

Alongside the hotel sector, Televés has also developed projects in hospitals, student residences, senior living facilities, sports complexes, clinics and residential buildings, demonstrating the versatility of its solutions for different accommodation and user service models.

 

GPON consolidates its position as the reference infrastructure in Hospitality

From an infrastructure perspective, the annual results confirm an increasingly clear trend in the sector: the adoption of GPON fibre optic-based architectures as the technological platform for the distribution of digital services.

With 35 projects and more than 4,200 connected rooms, GPON technology is positioned as the preferred option for deploying high-capacity, scalable and efficient networks capable of simultaneously supporting audiovisual services, IP connectivity and new digital applications within hospitality establishments.

 

IPTV, a central pillar of the digital guest experience

In the field of audiovisual services included within the comprehensive ArantiaTV solutions, IPTV has established itself as the predominant solution, with 75 installations totalling 11,691 rooms equipped with this technology.

The adoption of IPTV platforms responds to the need for Hospitality establishments to offer more personalised, flexible and integrated entertainment experiences aligned with the current digital consumption habits of guests.

 

ArantiaCast and WiFi boost the digital services ecosystem

The analysis of complementary services also shows a clear trend towards solutions focused on the connected guest experience.

The ArantiaCast service, which allows users to play content from their own mobile devices on the room television, is positioned as the most demanded functionality, present in 30 projects, 21 as a standalone service and another 9 integrated alongside other services.

Meanwhile, WiFi connectivity solutions, whether deployed independently or combined with other systems, are present in 25 projects, consolidating their role as an essential component of the digital infrastructure of hospitality establishments.Televes 2 HI
