ISE 2026 hosted a keynote focused on how organizations could move from early enthusiasm about artificial intelligence to realistic, scalable adoption, supported by robust governance models, risk management, and the integration of cybersecurity.
The session was delivered by Sol Rashidi, one of the most widely recognized voices in AI and data strategy within large corporations, with experience at companies such as Sony Music, Merck, Estée Lauder, and Amazon.
Under the title The AI Reality Check: What It Takes to Scale and the Future of Leadership, the talk positioned itself as a practical guide for technology, operations, and leadership teams looking to deploy AI at enterprise scale without falling into impulsive decisions or disconnected projects. In a context where AI was being adopted at speed across AV, broadcast, and corporate environments, Rashidi argued that the challenge was not to “adopt AI”, but to lead its implementation with clear criteria, separating expectations from operational realities.
The keynote aligned with ISE 2026’s theme, Push Beyond, which encouraged the AV integration and systems sector to drive innovation without losing sight of responsibility, security, and sustainable technological change. Within this framework, Rashidi emphasized the importance of establishing governance from the outset, defining evaluation criteria, and ensuring project traceability—especially when AI models and tools directly affected data management, process automation, and decision-making.
