LEDVANCE has announced the launch of URBAN CLASSIC, its new line of public lighting.
URBAN CLASSIC combines timeless design with the performance of next-generation LED technology. Its four families (VILLA, FERNANDINO, VILLA COMPACT and VILLA RETROFIT) can be seamlessly integrated into historic town centres and residential areas, among other applications.
URBAN VILLA and URBAN FERNANDINO
URBAN VILLA embodies elegance by drawing inspiration from traditional luminaires and is ideal for illuminating environments with a story to tell. With a warm-white light spectrum specially designed to protect the environment and support biodiversity, it creates a welcoming atmosphere for all pedestrians.
Manufactured from low-copper AC47100 aluminium and tested for 1,000 hours in salt-spray conditions, this luminaire includes three beam angles and two colour temperatures (2200K and 3000K), while offering up to 120 lm/W efficiency. Its compatibility with DALI-2 and D4i technologies, together with the possibility of programming up to eight levels via NFC, enables flexible and advanced lighting control.
In the same spirit, LEDVANCE has announced the upcoming arrival of URBAN FERNANDINO. This model also stands out for its classic design, especially suited for illuminating grand and majestic spaces, featuring ornamental detailing reminiscent of handcrafted work.
With a housing made from low-copper AC47100 aluminium and tested for 1,000 hours in salt-spray conditions, it promises uniform light distribution and colour temperatures of 2200K and 3000K. It also integrates DALI-2 and D4i technologies and allows configuration of up to eight levels via NFC, ensuring flexible and efficient light management.
URBAN VILLA COMPACT and URBAN VILLA RETROFIT
The third major innovation introduced by LEDVANCE is URBAN VILLA COMPACT. This luminaire features a compact and durable design, ideal for residential areas and new urban developments.
Equipped with symmetrical and asymmetrical optics, it is available in 2700K and 3000K, offering an efficiency of 120 lm/W. Its integration with DALI-2 and D4i, combined with eight-level programming via NFC, ensures versatile and optimised control.
LEDVANCE has also announced an update to its URBAN VILLA RETROFIT luminaire. Already present in streets and squares, this new model improves the energy efficiency and lifespan of its predecessor while maintaining a flexible design adaptable to the various Villa-style lantern sizes on the market.
With a modular design that makes it easy to upgrade existing luminaires to LED technology, it incorporates three beam angles and two colour temperatures (2200K and 3000K).
Compatible with DALI-2 and D4i and equipped with NFC programming of up to eight levels, this luminaire enables dynamic and personalised control. It also maintains an IP66 protection rating, safeguarding internal components from cleaning processes and environmental exposure.
With this launch, LEDVANCE completes its new public lighting portfolio, combining design, efficiency and sustainability to bring The Power of Light to our cities.
