AUO Display Plus has announced its partnership with the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) as an ODM partner.

The announcement was made during InfoComm 2025, where the company showcased its latest developments through its Avocor brand.

The MDEP platform, driven by Microsoft and based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), provides an open foundation for enterprise device development. Its goal is to support the creation of solutions that meet Microsoft’s corporate standards for security, management, and reliability.

Joining MDEP allows us to integrate into an ecosystem that fosters joint innovation, said CC Lee, CTO of AUO Display Plus.

Scott Hix, head of the education and enterprise division, highlighted the potential of the alliance to "develop new forms of collaboration adapted to today’s work environments".

From Microsoft, Juha Kuosmanen, head of MDEP, welcomed AUO Display Plus, emphasizing its expertise in display technologies as a valuable addition to the platform’s partner community.
