ALIA and AVIXA have signed a collaboration agreement to support the professional development of the audiovisual sector in Spain.
The Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA) and the Alianza de la Industria Audiovisual (ALIA) have formalised an institutional collaboration agreement establishing a framework for joint work in three key areas: specialised training and professional certification, event organisation and cross-participation, and the mutual promotion of initiatives of common interest.
AVIXA organises professional audio and video trade shows in various international markets and develops standards, certifications, training programmes and studies related to the audiovisual industry. The association also collaborates with regional industry organisations on initiatives focused on the training and professional development of their members.
For its part, the Alianza de la Industria Audiovisual (ALIA) has brought together and represented technical and service companies in Spain's audiovisual sector since 2020, acting as an interlocutor with public and private institutions while promoting competitiveness, internationalisation and industry collaboration.
The signing of this agreement represents a natural step in ALIA's evolution and reflects our commitment to building bridges across all areas of the audiovisual industry. We share AVIXA's commitment to advancing knowledge, innovation and business opportunities for our member companies. We are convinced that this collaboration will generate significant value for both organisations and help strengthen the sector as a whole, said Roberto Sacristán, president of ALIA.

Specific benefits for ALIA and AVIXA members
The agreement includes commitments from both organisations with tangible benefits for the professionals and companies associated with them, including:
- Access to AVIXA training: ALIA members will be able to participate in all webinars organised by AVIXA, in both Spanish and English, as well as access discounts and preferential terms on selected training and certification programmes in the Iberian region, available in both in-person and online formats.
- Annual joint event in Spain: Both organisations will hold an annual event in Spain, where AVIXA will be able to provide specialised training and institutional presentations, while ALIA will have its own dedicated participation space.
We firmly believe that the growth of the global audiovisual industry is built by supporting local communities. Joining forces with ALIA represents an extraordinary opportunity to develop talent in the region, facilitate knowledge transfer and open up new international business opportunities for its members. This agreement delivers real and immediate value to professionals, and we are convinced that combining our capabilities will significantly strengthen the technical and commercial fabric of the industry in Spain, said Yoav Slimobich, AVIXA's regional manager for Spain and Portugal.
The agreement was signed in Madrid as part of the first networking event jointly organised by AVIXA and ALIA for their members. The event brought together around fifty audiovisual industry professionals, who were able to exchange experiences, generate new business opportunities and strengthen ties between the professional film and broadcast ecosystems.
As part of this first meeting, attendees had the opportunity to hear a presentation by Rafael Lambea, managing director of Crea SGR, on the financing tools available to companies and projects in the sector.
