Shure arrived this year in Orlando as the main sponsor of InfoComm USA.
Celebrating 100 years of innovation, Shure demonstrates its ongoing commitment to the AV industry by launching innovative solutions for all professional spaces. Ahead of the event, Shure announces two new conferencing solutions that will enable AV and IT integrators to better support diverse meeting environments.
IntelliMix™ Foundation System for collaboration
In January, Shure launched its IntelliMix™ Room Kits, complete, certified solutions for Microsoft Teams Rooms delivering superior audio and video performance for both small and large meeting rooms. Now, the company announces that the powerful touchscreen and compute unit included in the Room Kits will be marketed as a standalone system, the IntelliMix Foundation System, allowing AV professionals to mix and match versatile Shure Microflex® ecosystem microphones and speakers with complementary third-party control products and cameras.
For 100 years, Shure has been delivering superior, durable, cutting-edge technology that addresses users’ unique demands. We maintain continuous conversations with customers and partners, enabling us to integrate their feedback into our solutions, as we have done with the new IntelliMix Foundation System, said Sam Sabet, Chief Technology Officer at Shure.
With the new foundational kit, AV installers have even more flexibility to choose the ideal conferencing equipment and create people-centric meeting experiences—exactly what organizations are looking for.
The IntelliMix Foundation System is certified for Microsoft Teams and features a compute unit with integrated IntelliMix® Room DSP, plus a high-resolution touchscreen that provides intuitive meeting control.
Combined with solutions from the Microflex Ecosystem and effortlessly configured via Shure’s Designer software, it delivers a flawless, secure audio-quality system, while also being quick to install and scale. AV integrators and professionals can easily manage customized Shure solutions from anywhere through ShureCloud.
Microflex™ MXN-6 networked pendant speaker
Making its debut at InfoComm 2025, the Microflex MXN-6 Networked Pendant Speaker offers high-quality voice reproduction for AV conferencing and is the latest addition to the Microflex speaker line, expanded at ISE 2025. Paired with Microflex Advance microphones and IntelliMix DSP solutions, the PoE-powered MXN-6 seamlessly integrates into a Shure networked conferencing audio system, delivering superior audio performance without the need for an external amplifier.
The new speaker supports industry-standard security protocols to manage access and protect data, including 802.1X authentication and AES audio encryption. Using the Designer 6 system-configuration software, users can design and deploy each device within the Microflex Ecosystem signal chain and remotely monitor device status via ShureCloud.
The MXN-6 features a factory-tuned frequency response optimized for speech intelligibility in AV conferencing applications. Best of all, the MXN-6’s sleek, attractive industrial design complements a wide range of open-ceiling installation types commonly found in today’s collaboration spaces.
