NAD Electronics has announced the availability of its Modular Series for distributed audio installations.

The company’s new product range is designed for residential integration, hospitality, retail and commercial environments, offering networked audio solutions created to manage multiple zones from compact form factors.

The family consists of three products: the CI PA4-60 power amplifier, the CI SA2-120 streaming amplifier and the CI S2 network streamer, all compatible with the BluOS ecosystem for network audio management and high-resolution multiroom playback.

One of the series’ distinguishing features is its modular form factor, measuring one-third of a rack width and 1U in height, allowing up to three units to be installed within a single standard rack space. This architecture is designed to improve system scalability and optimise available space in technical rooms, hotel racks, commercial installations and multi-zone residential projects.

Among the new products, the CI PA4-60 stands out as a four-channel amplifier capable of delivering 60 W per channel or operating as a two-channel solution at 120 W. The unit incorporates NAD’s DirectDigital technology and has been specifically developed for distributed audio systems and custom integration applications.

The CI SA2-120 combines amplification and network streaming within a single unit. The system supports two independent zones and is intended for projects requiring centralised music content management without the need for additional external players.

The third addition is the CI S2 streamer, which is now available with the ability to manage two independent BluOS zones, enabling different content to be played and volume levels to be controlled separately for each output.

The new range forms part of NAD’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the professional integration market, a growing segment driven by demand for networked audio solutions in hotels, restaurants, retail venues, corporate spaces and high-end residential projects. Thanks to its compatibility with BluOS and a variety of control and automation platforms, the Modular Series is designed to simplify the deployment of scalable, centralised multi-zone systems.
