Among the technological innovations, highlights include the launch of the 2-wire video intercom, the fifth generation of its LED screen range, and improvements in its intrusion division. These solutions have enabled the company to effectively address the demands of key sectors such as traffic and healthcare, contributing to the development of applications tailored to current needs.
In the traffic sector, Hikvision has developed road management solutions that include violation detection systems, such as speeding or mobile phone use while driving. Technologies for automatic incident detection and real-time traffic flow analysis have also been implemented. Among the latest innovations is a certified system for detecting occupants in high-occupancy vehicle lanes, aimed at promoting sustainable mobility.
In the healthcare field, Hikvision's solutions have focused on enhancing patient safety and optimizing care in residential and home settings. Supported by artificial intelligence and radar technology, tools have been introduced to monitor vital signs and prevent risks, maintaining a balance between privacy and care.
Additionally, the opening of a new office in Cantabria highlights Hikvision's commitment to customer proximity and regional development. This strategic move strengthens its presence in northern Spain and facilitates closer technical and commercial support.
Internally, the company's workforce grew by more than 20% during 2024, with special focus on areas such as distribution channels, display, and sales. This growth enhances its capacity to tackle the challenges of an ever-evolving sector.
Moreover, initiatives such as the training program Hikvision Masters 2024 and the Hikvision Village event stood out this year. The former trained hundreds of professionals in key industry skills, while the latter brought together over 1,200 attendees, offering workshops, conferences, and an interactive showcase of its technological solutions.
