Bose Professional expands the AMU series with new models and accessories.
The company announced the global availability of two new multi-purpose AMU loudspeaker models, the AMU108-120 and AMU208-120, as well as two new mounting accessory options.
These additions extend the flexibility of the AMU series by offering new broader coverage options while maintaining high-power sound, exceptional vocal clarity, and rich musical depth, making them ideal for a variety of applications.
We designed the AMU series to be scalable and meet the diverse needs of both large distributed audio systems and small to medium-sized setups. With multiple driver configurations, flexible mounting options, and color choices, the AMU line offers virtually unlimited installation and coverage possibilities for indoor and outdoor use. These loudspeakers combine maximum performance and vocal intelligibility with simplified installation, making them suitable for spaces such as bars, restaurants, gyms, auditoriums, lobbies, theme parks, and public areas, said Shawn Watts, Product Management Director, Bose Professional.
The new AMU108-120 features a constant directivity horn with a redesigned waveguide, delivering wide and uniform coverage of 120° x 60°. It is equipped with a Bose Professional LF8 8'' woofer, producing 121 dB peak SPL and a frequency response of 80 Hz to 16 kHz.
The larger AMU208-120 model provides the same 120° × 60° high-frequency coverage, combined with dual Bose Professional LF8 8'' woofers. This configuration delivers an impressive 126 dB peak SPL and a frequency response of 70 Hz to 16 kHz.

The AMU series mounting accessories also offer greater installation possibilities, including a new pole adapter and new rail hanging mounts, as well as stainless steel U-brackets, orientation and tilt surface mounts, and single-point suspension mounts with multi-angle attachment points. All AMU series loudspeakers come with UV-resistant finishes and an IP55 outdoor rating, eliminating the need for custom orders or weatherproofing surcharges.
To further enhance AMU system performance, users can integrate the weather-resistant dual 10'' MB210-WR subwoofer. Additionally, PowerShareX amplifiers offer factory-optimized presets for maximum AMU performance and simplified installation. The AMU108-120 and AMU208-120 loudspeakers will soon be available worldwide.
