Humly and Comeen join forces to reduce ghost meetings and optimise workspaces.
A new integration allows organisations using the Comeen by LumApps workplace management platform to deploy Humly Room Display devices for room booking, checking availability and wayfinding within facilities, with tools designed to reduce ghost meetings and analyse actual space usage.
Ghost meetings account for nearly one-third of today's meeting room bookings. The combined Humly and Comeen solution makes it easier for employees to book the right space and check availability at a glance, while providing organisations with smarter booking rules and workplace analytics tools to optimise office space.
The integration also enables room booking powered by artificial intelligence directly through tools such as Google Chat, Microsoft Teams and Slack, identifying the most suitable space based on availability, capacity, equipment and location.
Software and purpose-built hardware
The integration combines the Comeen by LumApps workplace management platform with Humly devices, for both existing installations and new deployments. For Comeen, this means adding a certified hardware solution and a clearly defined deployment process.
Organisations want workplace technologies that work together seamlessly, regardless of the platforms and devices they choose. Our partnership with Comeen strengthens Humly's commitment to open integrations and workplace technology ecosystems that give customers greater flexibility, says Anders Karlsson, CEO of Humly.
"Our customers are increasingly looking for workplace solutions that combine powerful software with reliable, purpose-built hardware", says Ben Gauthier, General Manager WEX at Comeen by LumApps. "Together, we can give organisations a seamless way to manage meeting rooms, improve visibility of available spaces and use workplace intelligence to reduce ghost meetings, understand actual usage and optimise every room".
Next step: sensors
Both companies plan to extend the integration beyond booking management to include occupancy monitoring, environmental data, space utilisation analytics and other sensor-driven capabilities through Humly Sense, Humly's open platform for connecting and managing sensors. The partnership covers organisations across Europe and North America.
Comeen, acquired by LumApps in May 2026, brings together space management, digital signage and building applications, and has more than 350 customers, including Airbus, Constellium, Sanofi and Veolia.
Humly, based in Stockholm, offers hardware and software for booking desks, parking spaces and meeting rooms, as well as welcoming visitors. The company has more than a thousand customers in over forty countries.
