Nureva is bringing AI to its Console platform with Room Assistant, a new assistant for managing rooms and audio devices.
Room Assistant brings natural language processing to Nureva Console, the company's device management and monitoring platform for its audio systems, through an interface that allows IT teams to interact with Nureva's knowledge base via text-based chat. This gives teams responsible for managing Nureva devices faster access to information and answers to product-related questions, helping to simplify room management.
This addition marks a new step in the evolution of Nureva Console, moving beyond cloud-based device management and monitoring towards an intelligent, agent-based platform for overseeing collaboration spaces. Together with the Nureva App, Nureva Console simplifies the entire device life cycle, from deployment and setup to daily use, remote management and ongoing support, helping IT teams maintain reliable audio performance across meeting rooms, classrooms, training spaces and divisible rooms.
Currently in beta, Room Assistant draws information from Nureva's knowledge base. Future plans for Nureva Console include providing IT teams with AI-powered room and device data, extending room intelligence into daily use and identifying potential issues before they affect meetings or classes.
IT and AV teams are under significant pressure to ensure that every collaboration space performs reliably, but traditional room management tools often require them to interpret data and search for answers on their own. Room Assistant is an important first step in bringing AI-powered room intelligence to Nureva Console, giving teams faster access to trusted information while laying the foundation for more intelligent, connected and automated experiences across Nureva Console, the Nureva App and our audio systems, says Nancy Knowlton, CEO of Nureva.

Room Assistant features
As organisations deploy more meeting rooms and hybrid classrooms, IT teams need more than dashboards and alerts: they require faster ways to access trusted information, understand what is happening in their spaces and determine the next actions to take.
Room Assistant addresses this need through a simple text-based chat integrated into Nureva Console, which serves as an assistant for managing Nureva-equipped spaces. The tool answers product-related questions using information from Nureva sources and reduces the time IT teams spend searching through documentation. It also provides easier access to support when additional assistance is required.
Over time, Room Assistant is expected to connect users more closely with Nureva Console's agent-based intelligent capabilities, providing access to room insights, recommendations and potential actions through a simple chat interface.
Planned features also include voice interaction with Room Assistant, enhanced room insights, intelligent optimization and automated diagnostics. These tools will be designed to identify issues, recommend next steps and support continuous improvement across collaboration spaces.
