Williams AV expands the Infinium® platform and its classroom audio solution.
The company took advantage of its participation at InfoComm 2026 to introduce several new solutions designed to expand access to audio in both public venues and educational environments.
The announcements include new additions to the Infinium Auracast broadcast audio platform, a new TeachLogic vertical line speaker array for classrooms, and the first public U.S. demonstration of Infinium's Enhanced Scale & Management (ESM) capabilities.
Together, these solutions expand audio distribution possibilities, from large-scale Auracast deployments and outdoor venues to classrooms requiring more consistent coverage and improved speech intelligibility.
New Infinium products
Infinium Flex Bundle
The Infinium Flex Bundle combines FM, Wi-Fi and Auracast audio transmission technologies into a single solution, enabling venues to support more listeners without relying on a single listening platform.
By integrating the Infinium controller and FM+ transmitter into a single rack-mounted unit, the system simultaneously delivers FM, Wi-Fi and Auracast audio streams for assistive listening, language interpretation, audio description and other guest audio services.
Users can access the audio using hearing aids, cochlear implants, smartphones, Auracast-compatible devices or venue-supplied receivers.
Infinium T1 Transmitter with Outdoor Enclosure
The new Infinium T1 Transmitter with Outdoor Enclosure extends Auracast coverage beyond the walls of a building, enabling assistive listening, language interpretation, audio description and other audio services to be delivered in outdoor environments.
The package includes an Infinium T1 Transmitter and an IP66-rated enclosure designed to protect the unit against dust and high-pressure water while maintaining the low-latency performance that characterises the Infinium platform.
It is intended for stadiums, outdoor venues, transport hubs, university campuses, theme parks and other outdoor spaces requiring accessible audio solutions.
Infinium Black T1 Transmitter
The Infinium T1 Transmitter is also available in a black finish, making it particularly suitable for theatres, performance venues, dark ceilings, wooden surfaces and other spaces where aesthetic integration is important.
The BA-T1BK delivers the same low-latency performance and single CAT5 cable installation as the standard transmitter. In addition, all T1 transmitters now include a universal wall and ceiling mount with multiple mounting options and an auto-snap design that simplifies installation.
Auracast Headphone Receiver
The new Auracast Headphone Receiver allows venues to offer access to Auracast broadcasts for users who do not have compatible personal devices.
Designed to meet the volume and intelligibility requirements of assistive listening applications, it provides an inclusive listening experience for all users.
Unlike many existing Auracast solutions, this receiver connects directly to Auracast broadcasts without requiring a smartphone, apps, intermediary devices or complex setup procedures.
It automatically detects available channels and enables users to quickly select their preferred audio stream.
First public demonstration of Infinium Enhanced Scale & Management (ESM)
First introduced earlier this year at ISE, the Enhanced Scale & Management (ESM) features expand Infinium's ability to manage large-scale and complex Auracast installations.
ESM enables integrators to organise transmitters into arrays, apply settings across multiple devices simultaneously and manage deployments through a centralised web interface. The system supports virtually unlimited transmitter expansion across multiple rooms, zones and buildings. ESM capabilities are included as standard with new Infinium systems and are also available as a free firmware update for existing users.
TeachLogic Vertical Line Speaker Array
Williams AV also introduced the TeachLogic SP-5000, a new vertical line speaker array that brings sound technology traditionally used in large venues into the classroom. Using just two speakers, compared with the four or more typically required in conventional classroom audio installations, the SP-5000 delivers clearer speech reproduction and a more uniform sound field throughout the room.
Its wide horizontal dispersion ensures consistent audio coverage throughout the classroom, eliminating dead spots and excessive sound levels while helping students hear the teacher clearly regardless of where they are seated.
