Renkus-Heinz expands its acclaimed IC Live X Series with the launch of the new ICLX-48S subwoofer.
This powerful and discreet low-frequency solution is designed to integrate seamlessly with the IC Live X range of modular steerable arrays.
The IC Live X Series consists of three combinable steerable array modules: ICLX, ICLXL, and ICLLX; and two high-performance subwoofers, the ICLX-118S and the new ICLX-48S, delivering unmatched scalability for live sound reinforcement.
This new subwoofer makes IC Live X the most discreet full-range sound system from Renkus-Heinz. It’s about giving integrators and designers even more flexibility to build the system they need, says Brandon Heinz, Product Manager at Renkus-Heinz.
The ICLX-48S allows integrators to fly or wall-mount the subwoofer alongside ICLX arrays in a single cohesive column, simplifying installation while maintaining clean aesthetics and consistent performance even in the most acoustically challenging spaces. Purpose-engineered ports reduce turbulence and optimize internal volume, enabling high-output sub-bass performance in a remarkably compact form factor.
Powered by Renkus-Heinz’s state-of-the-art transducers and a proprietary amplifier, the ICLX-48S delivers impressive low-frequency extension and musicality. The subwoofer provides 2,000 watts of power and features four 8-inch woofers arranged in a vertical column to achieve uniform bass coverage, whether combined with IC Live X array modules or used as a standalone subwoofer.
The ICLX-48S is ideal for venues or installations with minimal space for subwoofers, or for any application requiring high-performance audio in a discreet form factor.
Renkus-Heinz’s latest release expands the range of scalable solutions available to audio professionals and reinforces the company’s commitment to developing powerful and adaptable sound systems, enhancing the experience for integrators, system designers, and audiences worldwide.
