The InfoComm concept, one of the world’s most influential technology trade shows in the audiovisual field, landed in Latin America.
From October 22 to 24, 2025, the International Exhibition and Convention Center of the WTC in Mexico City hosted for the first time InfoComm Latin America, an event that brought together manufacturers, integrators, designers, distributors, and AV professionals from across the region.
Organized by AVIXA, the global association representing the audiovisual integration industry, this new edition joined the international calendar of trade shows that includes well-established stops in Las Vegas, Beijing, Bangkok, Mumbai, Sydney (Integrate), and Barcelona (ISE).
InfoComm’s arrival in Mexico was no coincidence: the Latin American region was among the fastest-growing in 2024, reaching revenues of 14 billion dollars, of which 3 billion came from Mexico.
A trade show that captured the market pulse
InfoComm Latin America featured an exhibition floor with more than 60 exhibitors and 100 brands, audio demo rooms, an educational program with over 50 sessions, and multiple spaces for professional networking.
The event reflected the dynamism of a market that is evolving rapidly, driven by digitalization, immersive experiences, and the convergence of audio, video, and IT technologies.
Voices of reference and global trends
The program included two international keynotes featuring prominent industry leaders. On Wednesday, October 22, Jeff Stoebner (CEO of FORTÉ), John Bailey (Senior Vice President of Technology and Innovation at AVI-SPL), and Dave Labuskes (CEO of AVIXA) discussed The Future of AV: Innovation, Business, and Connections, highlighting growth opportunities in Latin America.
The following day, Julian Philips (SVP & Managing Director of XTG, AVI-SPL) explored Transforming the End-User Experience through Digital Signage and Artificial Intelligence, analyzing how these technologies are redefining interaction between brands and audiences.
More than an exhibition
Beyond its content offering, InfoComm Latin America became a strategic meeting point for professionals driving integration, experience design, and digital communication projects across the region.
AVIXA held an opening ceremony on Wednesday, October 22, at 11:40 a.m., led by David Labuskes alongside industry leaders and local representatives, in an event that combined institutional formality with a technological showcase.
With this edition, AVIXA strengthened its commitment to bringing the global AV community closer to Latin America, connecting innovation, knowledge, and business in one space.
