Renkus-Heinz has expanded its engineering department with the addition of three new professionals.
Hai Le joins as Embedded Software Engineer, Robert Newman as Loudspeaker Engineering Technician, and Peng Yin as Senior Software Engineer.
Ralph Heinz, the company’s Chief Technology Officer, explains:

Hai Le brings more than twenty years of experience in embedded software development. After earning a master’s degree in computer science from California State University, Fullerton, he worked across various sectors including computer storage, networking, medical devices, flight software, and traffic detection systems. He now takes on the challenge of applying this knowledge to the field of professional audio:
“In my previous projects I worked with video products, but they did not include audio. Now I have the opportunity to learn about sound and contribute to the performance of Renkus-Heinz loudspeakers,” says Le.
Robert Newman joins after serving as Technical Head at an audio engineering company. With fifteen years in the sector, he has built strong expertise in the design, manufacturing, and testing of transducers. He combines hands-on craftsmanship with engineering theory and technical management skills:
“It is very rewarding to be able to apply everything I’ve learned over the years in an environment like this,” says Newman.
Peng Yin, meanwhile, joins as Senior Software Engineer. Educated at the University of California, Irvine, with master’s degrees in Software Engineering and Civil Engineering, he has held various development roles since 2016, leading teams and gaining experience in multiple programming languages and software testing.
“Joining Renkus-Heinz allows me to combine my passion for software engineering with the world of sound. I look forward to contributing my knowledge in real-time systems, signal processing, and .NET development to create tools that drive new acoustic solutions,” says Yin.
The three will work closely with Engineering Manager Chad DeFranco and the rest of the team. DeFranco adds:
“We are building a diverse and highly skilled group that will allow us to strengthen our RHAON software and loudspeaker platforms, and move forward with our technological roadmap.”
