A new research reveals that Generative AI will drive an average increase of 38% in sales in 2025.
The study shows that 91% of sales professionals already use Generative AI (GenAI) to gain a competitive advantage. According to respondents, implementing this technology in sales processes will allow for a 38% growth in the next 12 months, thanks to benefits such as greater accuracy in data analysis, more personalized customer interaction, and faster response times.
Potential tension between the technology and HR departments
One of the main challenges identified is who will be responsible for implementing Generative AI. 90% of respondents stated that they will need support to integrate it into their processes, and 68% believe that this support will come from the technology department. However, there is also a need to consider other areas of support within the organization.
Integration presents itself as one of the main challenges: 92% of participants expect to face difficulties in this aspect. Training (68%), security (63%), and regulatory compliance (61%) are mentioned as other key barriers.
Generational gap in the perception of AI
The study reveals a clear divide between younger and older sales professionals regarding the most relevant use cases and the potential impact of Generative AI. Senior profiles report greater use and optimism, while junior profiles are more skeptical about the time-saving benefits.
