A new exhibition area was presented, dedicated to multimedia technologies designed for work environments, hybrid work, and remote working.

MIR – Multimedia Integration Expo, organized by IEG - Italian Exhibition Group, returned from March 23 to 25 at the Rimini Expo Centre with a new edition focused on the latest technological innovations in the audiovisual and entertainment sectors.

MIR 2025 established itself as a must-attend event, offering a unique opportunity to discover and explore the most advanced solutions aimed at transforming how we interact with multimedia content across various professional settings.

Among the most anticipated novelties this year was the Corporate Communication pavilion—an exhibition area organized in collaboration with SIEC, the Systems Integration Experience Community. This space was fully dedicated to multimedia technologies designed to enhance the experience in modern work environments, including hybrid and remote work.

Technologies for communication: an immersive experience in the Corporate Communication pavilion

Located in Hall A4, the Corporate Communication pavilion offered visitors an immersive and hands-on experience. It was designed as an interactive environment where attendees could personally test the technologies shaping the future of workspaces. The space featured all-in-one displays, LED video walls for meeting rooms, BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) systems, and integrated video conferencing platforms. All the technologies were fully operational, allowing real-time demonstrations and practical testing.

The pavilion also hosted a prominent lineup of top-tier exhibitors. Renowned companies such as Barco, Cisco, Essedi, Lenovo, LG Electronics Italy, Philips, and Samsung actively participated, showcasing their latest innovations and current multimedia trends.

Artificial intelligence and innovation: the future of communication and workspaces

This space served as the central hub of a dynamic program of activities, offering multiple opportunities for discussion and reflection on key topics within the industry. As part of the program, two high-level round tables were held, focusing on the main market trends.

The first, titled Digital Signage and Visual Communication: Strategies and Solutions from Industry Giants, provided a strategic view of the evolution of visual communication, highlighting cutting-edge solutions through direct input from industry leaders. The second, Connected Work: Collaboration, Smart Buildings, and AI for the Future of Offices, addressed the challenge of transforming workspaces in the digital era. Videoconferencing, smart buildings, and artificial intelligence were the focal points, with exceptional speakers sharing insights and best practices to tackle the emerging challenges of modern business collaboration.

Additionally, exhibiting companies were given dedicated time slots to present their innovative solutions during scheduled talks on Monday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 25. These sessions gave attendees a concrete and detailed overview of how new technologies could be applied across different professional contexts.
