The Crestron Europe Integration Awards have become a key recognition platform, highlighting the most exceptional audiovisual integration projects delivered by authorized Crestron dealers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

These awards not only celebrate technical excellence but also recognize the ability of integrators to transform physical spaces into highly technological, efficient, and functional environments.

As a member of this year’s judging panel, it is an honor to take part in selecting the most outstanding projects, evaluating proposals that make a real difference in our industry. This evaluation process aims to identify and highlight solutions that combine innovation, functionality, and creativity, setting a standard of excellence to inspire the entire sector.

The relevance of technological spaces

Technology not only changes how we interact with spaces but also redefines how these spaces influence our daily activities. In a constantly evolving environment, technological integration must be intuitive, efficient, and user-focused. The most outstanding projects are those that manage to turn technical complexity into simple and effective solutions while leveraging available resources and collaborating with other professionals, such as designers or architects, to achieve exceptional results.

Evaluation criteria

The judging panel will assess each project based on the following criteria:

• Overall quality of entry submission: Clear, well-documented, and visually impactful proposals.
• How challenges were resolved: Effective solutions to specific problems.
• Use of Crestron products: Strategically planned and well-executed integrations.
• Customer satisfaction: Measurable positive impact on the end-user.
• Creativity and uniqueness: Innovative projects that stand out for their originality.
• Visual presentation: Images and videos that clearly communicate the scope of the project.

These criteria ensure that the selected projects are not only technically flawless but also inspire and represent the future of audiovisual integration.

  A €2,500 credit to develop a marketing campaign in collaboration with Crestron.
• Promotion of their project on Crestron’s website and social media channels, as well as in communications sent to selected journalists.
• Visibility at the Crestron SPARK VIP Event during the ISE® 2025 trade show in Barcelona, a global showcase for the audiovisual industry.

It is essential for each project to tell a compelling story, demonstrating how technological integration solved a specific problem or significantly enhanced an experience.

For first-time participants, my advice is to prepare a solid, well-structured presentation that clearly communicates the project’s impact on the client.

How to participate

Eligible projects must have been completed between January 1, 2022, and September 30, 2024, by authorized Crestron dealers based in the EMEA region and active in the AV/IT sector. The submission deadline is December 31, 2024, at 11:59 P.M. CET.

This competition is a unique opportunity for integrators to demonstrate their innovation capabilities and technical excellence, solidifying their position as leaders in the audiovisual integration sector.
