The Auto Book and Auto Release features simplify room bookings, while Logitech View aids in office navigation.
Logitech has launched a set of intelligent Sync tools to enhance the employee experience in the workplace and strengthen the analytics of corporate computer systems.
The new Auto Book and Auto Release features are designed to redefine how companies manage their workspaces. Now, thanks to these tools, room bookings are automatically managed, freeing up spaces when not in use and reserving them when occupied. In addition, Logitech View, an interactive digital map system, makes navigation in large offices more intuitive than ever.
The recent study, The New Era of Hybrid Work: It’s Time to Give People What They Want by Steelcase, revealed that 40% of employees waste up to 30 minutes a day searching for an available meeting room. The reason? People use rooms without reserving them, stay longer than allocated, or simply don't show up for their meetings. Logitech has listened to these frustrations and decided to take it a step further with solutions that address these problems at the root.
With hybrid work becoming the new norm, offices can feel chaotic and unpredictable. Logitech’s smart tools are the perfect solution to bring order, offering a clear and predictive view of how workspaces are being used, says Henry Levak, VP of Product at Logitech for Business.

The Auto Book and Auto Release features are the perfect allies for any modern office as, for example, when an employee starts using a meeting room, Auto Book automatically reserves it. If no one shows up, Auto Release frees the room for others to use. In fact, after several missed meetings, a whole series of recurring meetings can be automatically canceled, showing the changes in the calendar and on the Tap Scheduler.
"Thanks to the AI of the Rally Bars, which detect and automatically respond to employee actions, no human intervention is required. This allows our workers to focus less on manual tasks and more on collaboration, while IT administrators get a realistic picture of which rooms are actually used, not just which rooms are reserved”, adds Levak.
These new features are available for rooms using Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini, with booking platforms such as Appspace, Envoy, Microsoft, RICOH Spaces, Robin, Zoom, and others.
Auto Book and Auto Release are the perfect example of how Logitech strives to offer simple and seamless experiences, removing barriers to productivity and leveraging data to solve current challenges, says Paul Alley, VP of Global Partnerships at Appspace.
Logitech View, on the other hand, elevates the hybrid employee and visitor experience by providing interactive digital maps of offices. These maps, which show real-time availability of meeting rooms, workstations, services, and exits, can be viewed on large screens through Logitech RoomMate. Additionally, from touchscreens, employees can directly book meeting rooms or search for their colleagues' desks, making navigation in large and complex offices easier and visually clearer.
Furthermore, Logitech has decided to focus on IT and Facilities teams as well. Thus, the benefits are not limited to employees. For these teams, typically responsible for managing meeting room technology and optimizing workspaces, this solution represents a significant advancement.
Having underused or overused rooms has a negative impact on company performance. Thanks to Logitech’s Sync Insights, companies can access detailed analytics on room usage, occupancy, and videoconferencing equipment, allowing them to make smarter decisions on technology investments and space planning, highlights Prakash Arunkundrum, Director of Operations and General Manager of Logitech for Business.
Pricing and availability
Logitech View, Auto Book, and Auto Release are available through Logitech’s Essential or Select service plan, with annual prices of €179 and €249 per room, respectively. To start using Logitech View, update RoomMate to CollabOS 1.14, available in the Logitech Sync beta. Auto Book and Auto Release features require a Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini with CollabOS 1.13 or higher.
