Generative AI and predictive analytics will be the top investment priorities for businesses.
Logitech has conducted a study with The Futurum Group, a global independent research firm, highlighting emerging trends in workplace transformation through artificial intelligence (AI) and predictive analytics.
The study reveals that generative AI and predictive analytics will be the main investment priorities for businesses in the coming years. Specifically, it is projected that by 2027, investment in AI applied to workplace experience will exceed €10 billion.
One of the biggest challenges companies face today is improving the user experience in hybrid and remote work environments. According to the report, 70% of workers say the technology provided by their company does not meet their expectations. In this context, the synergy between AI and user experience is seen as key to transforming the modern workplace.
According to experts, investing in advanced technology not only improves concentration and processes but also results in higher quality service and talent retention. A key factor in this context is the elimination of inefficient meetings, which are identified as the main obstacle to productivity. In this regard, adopting AI would transform these dynamics, allowing for greater productivity, efficiency, and the ability to solve complex problems.
To address the challenges of hybrid work, companies must equip their employees with the right tools. According to the report, employee dissatisfaction with current technological solutions is increasing. Only 29% of employees say they are fully satisfied with the technology they use at work, a significant decrease from the 39% reported in 2021. This trend underscores the need to improve and update both tools and technological solutions to meet employee needs.
The Logitech report highlights how integrating AI into the workplace can revolutionize how employees interact with technology and with each other.
We are at a turning point where AI not only enhances routine tasks but also plays a crucial role in creating a more efficient and satisfying work environment, says Nolwenn Le Querré, Category Marketing Personal Workspace South EU at Logitech.
Logitech is one of the companies investing in the implementation of artificial intelligence in its solutions, both for meeting rooms and personal workspaces, with its RightSense series. These advanced technologies, such as RightSight 2, which offers various viewing modes to ensure that meeting experiences adapt to room size, orientation, and occupancy; and RightSound 2, which features an advanced speech detection algorithm that even automatically increases the volume of quiet voices, ensuring all participants are heard. In addition to including several specific functionalities, they are using AI to optimize image and audio quality in virtual meetings, ensuring a consistent and high-performance experience.
Moreover, Logitech’s collaboration with other leading industry companies ensures that RightSense is compatible with major videoconferencing platforms like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom, facilitating more efficient and collaborative meetings.
In this context, companies aiming to attract and retain talent must ensure they promote the use of new and innovative tools that foster a collaborative and equitable environment among their employees.
Investing in advanced technologies and creating an optimal user experience is not just a competitive advantage but a necessity for the future of work, adds Le Querré.
