AVIXA announces that AVIXA TV picked up two awards in the 45th annual Telly Awards.

The AVIXA TV series How'd They Do That?, which takes the viewer behind the scenes with some of the most innovative minds in tech, received a Silver Award in the Science & Technology Series category. In addition, Behind the Scenes With Vū Technologies, an episode in the How'd They Do That? series that focuses on virtual production from Vū Technologies' studio in Orlando, Florida, won a Bronze Award for Individual Science & Technology Video.

This year's Telly Awards included 13,000 entrants from all 50 states and five continents. The awards were judged by an industry body of 200+ experts from ad agencies, production companies, streaming platforms, and major television networks.

It's an honor to be recognized by the Telly Awards, which seeks to showcase the truly innovative within the world of video and TV. This is truly a team effort, from the product and development teams who developed and launched the AVIXA.TV site, to the creative, marketing, and comms teams who have helped our products shine, and of course the video and content teams who have created these, and so many more, incredible productions, said Sam Minish, Vice President of Content Delivery, AVIXA.

Since its inception less than two years ago, AVIXA TV has been dedicated to telling the stories of the audiovisual industry and the people using technology to change the way we experience the world. The AVIXA TV team has quickly evolved from sharing a few videos a year to producing podcasts, live streams at ISE and InfoComm, and best-in-class video series throughout the year and across the globe.

At InfoComm 2024, AVIXA TV collaborated with Ross Video to create a working studio on the show floor, featuring AR, virtual production, live streaming, and podcast recording. AVIXA TV produced and streamed seven live episodes, including one in Spanish. The production team captured and highlighted content in real time across both the show floor and the Las Vegas area, showcasing thought leadership, case studies, and technology demos.
