A new video intercom solution for individuals and residential communities, which installs without needing a computer, while leveraging existing conventional wiring.
With its IoT environment, Hikvision's new 2-wire video intercom system interacts natively with all its equipment from the Hik-Connect management platforms such as CCTV, alarms, and access control.
The system guarantees customers simplicity in management from a single point and allows remote interaction with visitors through automatic notifications sent to mobile phones. Thus, it enables door opening, video, and conversation, while also maintaining event logs and enabling multiple accounts with customized privileges.
Thanks to the modularity of Hikvision's second-generation 2-wire video intercom, custom solutions can be created for different scenarios, from individual homes to residential complexes with up to 500 users. The complete solution features a main module with various extensions such as push-buttons, keypad, card reader, or indicator module, offering full functionality to users.
Simple control and maximum security
In addition, Hikvision's indoor station takes security to another level. It can function as a video intercom or be used as a management center in the home and office. With the integrated Hik-Connect application, users can enjoy simple control and flexible integration among various Hikvision devices, all through the touchscreen.
It is a fully flexible comprehensive solution. It allows Plug & Play setup for a monitor and multiple extensions per household, with street plates per block and up to 16 blocks. Up to 64 monitors can be installed in a building with a single power source, and there can be an average of 60 meters distance between elements while leveraging conventional wiring.
Traditionally, the range of intercoms was based on IP technology, requiring specific knowledge and materials. From this situation, the goal was to simplify the process, leading to the concept of 2-wire analog. This allows for the use of existing installations using just two wires. The next step in simplification comes with the elimination of the need for computers for configuration. It can be done simply with rotosuit, without requiring knowledge of structures or networks.
The customer gets a convenient 7” screen with high-definition image and sound, as well as functions of a conventional device. This is complemented by the ability to answer calls from the mobile phone, even when away from home, with a very user-friendly app. The new intercom replaces outdated products with reduced costs and the latest technology. It provides high definition to connect the home with the outside, receive calls, talk, and open the door with up to 2 MPixel quality.
The technology is aimed at homes and residential communities, especially those with older installations. For example, in central Madrid, where there are multi-story buildings with multiple doors, the goal is to replace obsolete intercom products, such as concave screens, with this more modern solution.
