This cable has an armored design with connector protection.

Sommer Cable has launched the HDMI® AOC, its new cable in armored design that makes it very durable. Thanks to the integrated stainless steel corrugated tube, the cable can withstand tensile forces of up to 800N – the strain relief of the connectors can take a maximum of 650N.

Despite these values, the cable with halogen-free and notch-resistant PUR jacket is just 5.8 mm thin and has a minimum bending radius of just 20 mm. The connectors are fitted with the tested Glandmaster protective sleeves for this purpose during transport – the cap is protected against loss with a stainless steel rope, which makes the cables ideal for rough mobile use.

Thanks to AOC (Active Optical Cable) technology, the transfer of the high speed contents is based on glass fibers – this facilitates a maximum transfer distance of up to 100 m, with a UHD performance of 18G. The cables are available in various lengths from 10 to 100 m, optionally also on drums.
