Club Roadies is a bold new extension of the MTV Roadies brand, India’s legendary and longest-running reality show, with a 19-year history. Created through a collaboration between Viacom 18 and Work With Fun LLP, the Club and Café Roadies concept introduces high-energy venues where guests can eat, drink and celebrate in a vibrant atmosphere.
Featuring a “Wall of Fame” dedicated to previous winners and an interior design incorporating iconic imagery from the long-running series, the venues combine a nostalgic atmosphere with music and DJ performances.
The audio brief for integrator Securetech AV Designs was clear and demanding: to provide a sound system combining power, precision and long-term reliability in a challenging club environment. The venue required an audio solution capable of supporting long operating hours, adapting to varying crowd densities and meeting the high-output demands of live DJ performances, all while maintaining the clarity needed for the dining experience.
Securetech AV Designs immediately turned to Martin Audio’s Blackline X series, a proven range of two-way passive loudspeakers that combines excellent sound quality, dispersion control and reliability for fixed installations.
The system design incorporates a carefully selected combination of Blackline X8, X10 and X12 models, whose precisely controlled dispersion provides accurate coverage throughout the venue. Combined with Blackline X118 18” subwoofers, the system delivers the low-frequency impact essential for a true club sound experience.
