The Ram Mandir (temple of Rama, in Hindi) in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the most iconic and significant temples in India, located at the site believed to be the birthplace of the Hindu god Rama, one of the most revered figures in the Hindu pantheon. In just one year (it was inaugurated in January of this year), it has become an important spiritual center.
In this context of great cultural and religious relevance for India, OPTIMUS, through the local partner TSG (That Sounds Good Audio Innovations), has had the honor of supplying and setting up the public address and voice alarm systems, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the premises.
OPTIMUS technology at the Ram Mandir
In collaboration with its valuable partner TSG in India, a complete public address and voice alarm system has been supplied and installed to ensure security and efficient communication in the complex. For a temple that receives between 100,000 and 150,000 daily visitors, the reliability of sound and alert systems is crucial.
The installed system includes the COMPACT matrix with several UMX-2SA sound cards that allow monitoring of speaker zones and a UMX-C16 card for process automation. Both the matrix and the IF-702ETH interfaces, with two audio outputs to feed power amplifiers of any kind, are connected to the data network, facilitating their placement anywhere in the spiritual center. Five DC-700ETH/T microphone desks, also connected to the network, allow for the management of the public address and voice alarm system with a great operational flexibility. The system manages different types of sound points: garden speakers, in-wall speakers, and acoustic projectors.
The installation of the OPTIMUS system at the Ram Mandir not only reflects the ability to provide advanced technological solutions but also the capability to adapt products to the specific needs of each client. The implementation of these systems ensures that, in emergency situations or large events, the temple is prepared to guarantee the safety of its visitors.
