ISE 2026 unveiled its content programme designed to maximise both learning and exploration.
That year, the programme introduced a more flexible schedule, allowing attendees to dive deeper into key industry topics through intensive, highly focused sessions, while still having enough time to experience the innovation and energy of the exhibition floor.

ISE 2026 aimed to go beyond expectations. That year’s ISE content programme drove innovation with the most extensive schedule we have offered to date. As an industry benchmark, we reshaped our programme, incorporating sessions on megatrends and a new CyberSecurity Summit to reflect the sector’s rapid transformation and unprecedented challenges. By bringing these topics to the forefront, we equip the community with the knowledge and strategies needed to thrive in a changing environment, explained Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events.
It led the conversation. It shaped the future. The ISE 2026 Summits
The ISE 2026 Summits programme enabled attendees to take their experience to the next level with high-impact, sector-specific sessions designed to drive innovation and foster strategic growth. These Summits (paid entry), focused on emerging topics such as cybersecurity, control rooms, smart buildings, Broadcast AV, digital signage and education technology, were designed to deliver real-world case studies, forward-looking strategies and professional debates that addressed the most pressing challenges of the moment and the biggest opportunities of the future.
The major new feature for 2026 was the CyberSecurity Summit, chaired by Pere Ferrer i Sastre, senior public executive and strategic advisor, who served as Director General of Police for the Government of Catalonia between 2019 and 2024. Pere led the discussion on how to address the rise in digital threats targeting AV infrastructures, smart venues and critical systems, turning cybersecurity from a secondary technical aspect into a strategic advantage.

Push Beyond: the megatrends driving tomorrow’s technology
For those seeking flexibility and inspiration, the Megatrends programme offered a series of shorter, more intensive sessions structured around six key thematic areas: AI, cybersecurity, robotics, smart spaces, sustainability and tradescape. Moderated by some of the industry’s most prominent figures, such as Rich Mulholland, Shaun Reardon and Florian Rotberg, these sessions were designed to generate new ideas and deliver practical takeaways on the trends shaping the technology of the future, in a format that fitted perfectly into a busy event schedule.
The Megatrends sessions offered attendees a unique opportunity to gain actionable insights and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving environment, fostering discussion and inspiring innovation.
AVIXA hosted a free Spanish-language conference on AI, XR and AV sustainability
AVIXA invited industry professionals and enthusiasts to a free conference featuring twelve specialised sessions in Spanish on the latest trends in Broadcast AV, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR), immersive technologies and sustainability in audiovisual solutions. Each 40-minute presentation and panel discussion delivered expert analysis, practical strategies and interactive debate, providing attendees with a comprehensive overview of the innovations driving the future of AV.

Hands-on audio: CEDIA workshop
As part of its comprehensive 2026 programme, CEDIA introduced a new full-day workshop titled CEDIA RP-32: Audio System Measurement and Verification Workshop. This hands-on training was designed to provide in-depth instruction on standards-based performance verification for both residential and commercial audio projects. Attendees learned recommended procedures and gained practical experience with a range of measurement tools and software.
With these innovations, ISE 2026 was much more than a trade show: it was a platform for discovery, learning and meaningful connections. Together, we can help shape what comes next for the industry, concluded Mike Blackman.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of what came next
Attendees were able to personalise their experience by purchasing individual passes for each Summit or the All Conferences pass, which unlocked access to all event content.
With this new approach, ISE 2026 ensured that every participant could engage deeply, learn meaningfully and make the most of their time at the world’s leading systems integration and AV event.
