Hikvision and SS Segurança Eletrônica have joined forces to transform the operations of remote monitoring service companies.

Brazilian software developer SS Segurança Eletrônica LTDA has integrated Hikvision’s monitoring ecosystem with its SYSMON platform. As a result, all users can access their Hikvision technologies from a single, unified system.

The SYSMON platform converges computing resources, networks, storage systems, system and software administration, while also incorporating a wide range of advanced features such as predictive analytics. This enables remote monitoring service companies to deliver faster and more streamlined services at a significantly lower cost.

Given that many remote monitoring companies work with Hikvision technologies, it was essential for the SYSMON platform to be able to integrate with them.

The working relationship began in 2016, integrating Hik-Connect to greatly simplify the process of providing remote yet secure access to Hikvision cameras via a simple cloud-based account. As Hikvision has evolved its platforms and devices, the SYSMON development team has kept pace by using technologies and services such as Hik-Partner Pro, Hik IP Receiver Pro, Device Gateway, and—via OpenAPI—HikCentral.

With these integrations, users gain access to the devices linked to their Hikvision account directly within SYSMON. This means that operators can view live video, recordings, snapshots, and event details from Hikvision devices without having to switch programs, says Giovani Bublitz, Pre-Sales Integration Manager at Hikvision.

According to Ricardo Rodrigues, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and co-founder of SS Segurança Eletrônica LTDA, the partnership with Hikvision is key to the company’s success. “We operate in a highly competitive environment, and the SYSMON team is constantly striving to maintain its position in the market. This means continually focusing on finding new and more efficient solutions to the problems and challenges faced by remote monitoring companies, as well as thinking of new ways to help them leverage innovative opportunities”.

This is why our close collaboration with Hikvision is so important. Hikvision is, after all, one of the most innovative companies in the world, especially in security systems and technologies. Our relationship with Hikvision is not only essential for SYSMON today, but I am confident it will continue to be critical to our commercial success for many years to come.
