The fair brought together nearly 100 companies, 9,000 professionals, and more than one hundred conferences, workshops, and round tables.
SIMO EDUCATION 2025 once again showcased the latest technological innovations for the classroom, while also serving as a broad space for debate and trend analysis among education sector professionals, with an attendance of 9,000 professionals and a total of 90 exhibitors, including leading companies in this important economic segment. The eleventh edition of the International Educational Technology and Innovation Exhibition, organized by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with EDUCACIÓN 3.0, adopted the theme Technology and pedagogy: the alliance driving educational innovation in times of AI.
The exhibition once again brought together the most innovative profile of a sector committed to improving education through all kinds of technological solutions such as artificial intelligence, robotics, programming, and educational platforms, among other trends.
In addition to the exhibition area, SIMO EDUCATION 2025 featured a comprehensive conference program with 115 activities and more than 190 speakers, addressing the most current topics related to technology applied to education. This analysis was of particular interest to the large professional audience visiting the event, including teachers, school principals, ICT coordinators, and public administrators.
Topics addressed included issues such as healthy technology; the debate around screen use in education; how to educate children and teenagers in ICT; how to align educational projects with real employability needs; digital transition and sustainability challenges in vocational training; advances in responsible artificial intelligence; new challenges in school leadership; and how art, neuroscience, and education work together to provide comprehensive learning.
Commitment to leadership development in schools
One of the key activities of this edition was SIMO EDUCATION DIRECTORES, sessions dedicated to school leadership teams, held for the first time over two days, in which the challenges faced by school administrators were analyzed. SIMO EDUCATION DIRECTORES was sponsored by Google for Education, Odilo, and Rossellimac.
Recognition of excellence
During SIMO EDUCATION, the Awards for Best Educational Experiences were presented. Among the 11 winners, two special awards stood out: the Award for Best Teaching Experience, granted to EF Ministerio del Tiempo by Ernesto Bautista Santurino Díaz from CRA Villas del Tajo (Toledo), which also received recognition for Best Experience with Active Methodologies; and the Award for Best Innovative and Technological Experience, given to ECOFLOCK by Rebeca Madero Beviá from Colegio Diocesano Santa María Nuestra Señora (Sevilla), which also received recognition for Best Sustainability Experience.
Institutional support
The eleventh edition of SIMO EDUCATION received strong institutional backing, highlighted by the presence of the Regional Minister of Education of the Community of Madrid, Emilio Viciana, at the opening ceremony, as well as the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, María González Veracruz, and the Secretary of State for Education and Vocational Training, Abelardo de la Rosa, at the launch of the Multiple Literacies Promotion Sessions.
