Cloud-based provisioning brings new features to streamline BRAVIA installation.

To further enhance its professional BRAVIA display range, Sony has announced the launch of its new cloud-based provisioning, control, and monitoring service, Remote Device Manager (RDM), which will save time and money for integrators and end-users during installation, operation, and troubleshooting.

Deployed on site via Zero-Touch Provisioning, RDM will offer new features for the control and monitoring of your BRAVIA displays, including the ability to update software remotely, monitor the status of multiple displays, detect abnormal conditions, and capture screenshots.Sony BRAVIA 3 HI

The introduction of RDM will not only enable users to deploy and configure hundreds of displays quickly and easily, but also simplify control and troubleshooting. This solution allows the creation of several predefined BRAVIA configuration profiles for different display use cases, such as signage or meeting room displays. Each profile can include the necessary CMS applications, professional settings, and general display settings, which can be deployed with a quick on-site QR code scan, revolutionizing display setup in stores, workplaces, universities, etc., notes Chris Mullins, Head of B2B BRAVIA at Sony Professional Displays and Solutions Europe.

Sony BRAVIA 2 HIRDM will be subject to continuous improvements to offer new features and benefits to users. It will be available as a paid license per managed device. However, to give integrators and end-users the opportunity to experience this innovative service, we are pleased to announce a free trial period available until September 30, 2025.

Along with the introduction of RDM, Sony is continuously announcing new partnerships with software providers to offer greater value, compatibility, and creative freedom for its professional BRAVIA displays. It has recently welcomed 23 new members and industry leaders to its AV and Technology Partner Network, including Sales TV, Grassfish, and PADS4.
