WORK PRO announced at ISE 2025 two models of its WFS range of outdoor audio projectors: the WFS 4 CX and the WFS 6 CX.
Both are designed to project sound over long distances, while their IP rating makes them suitable for all outdoor applications, including theme parks, water parks, shopping centers, stadiums, and train stations.
Additionally, the WFS range from WORK PRO Audio is equally suitable for indoor environments such as swimming pools, auditoriums, and stadiums, where sound needs to travel long distances without losing clarity or intelligibility.
The new models join the three existing ones in the WFS range of passive two-way full-range projector speakers: the WFS 5 CX, the WFS 500 CX R, and the WFS 10 CX R. All of them feature the IP66 rating, the highest level of water protection available under the globally recognized standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
With a nominal power of 150 W at 8 ohms, the WFS 4 CX combines a 1.5-inch compression driver with an 8-inch coaxial speaker to handle high and low frequencies and provide consistent coverage across the vocal range. The WFS 6 CX, on the other hand, also features a 1.5-inch compression driver, combined with a 12-inch coaxial speaker and a power capacity of up to 300 W at 8 ohms. The dimensions of the WFS 4 CX, which weighs 9.1 kg, are 390 x 370 x 330 mm, while the WFS 6 CX measures 540 x 500 x 500 mm and weighs 20.3 kg.
Both models are available in a weather-resistant white fiberglass enclosure, in addition to the standard black color common to the entire range. They both offer two connection modes - low impedance 8 Ohm and 70/100V line - allowing for adaptation to different acoustic solutions. WORK PRO Audio can also provide wall-mount accessories to facilitate the installation of all speakers in this range, regardless of their application.
Designed with elegance and durability in mind, the WFS range is visually discreet and capable of withstanding the most adverse environmental conditions. All speakers feature aluminum grilles covered with water-repellent protective fabric and four-pole electrical connection cables that enter the housing through a cable gland, preventing water, dust, and moisture from damaging the speakers.
