OPTIMUS' public address and voice alarm solution ensures safety and communication at Sunrise Water Park.

EN54-certified equipment for demanding environments

In leisure spaces, people’s safety depends on good organization, accurate information, and the ability to respond to any eventuality.

In this regard, the new Sunrise Water Park in Abuja is a clear example of how OPTIMUS technology in public address and voice alarm systems can enhance the visitor experience and reinforce collective safety in high-traffic environments.

The park’s infrastructure is designed to accommodate thousands of visitors each week, requiring systems capable of delivering announcements clearly and precisely in any situation. That’s why OPTIMUS has supplied a comprehensive solution based on the COMPACT platform, certified according to EN 54 standards, which ensures the broadcast of emergency messages but also supports daily information and background music across the entire site, always complying with the highest international safety standards.

Technology that looks after people

The installation includes a network of speakers made up of SP-20EN acoustic projectors, A-225EN ceiling speakers, CA-915EN two-way wall speakers, and BS-208T high-power speaker boxes. The DA-500D2 and DA-500D4 amplifiers power the speakers to ensure uniform and complete sound coverage throughout the venue. The system is managed from a central COMPACT unit, reinforced by COMPACT-E units and UMX-2SA monitoring cards.

Thanks to the DC-700ETH microphone station, the MI2-700ETH analog-to-IP streaming audio converter, and the CP40-MP3BT audio source, park staff can broadcast live and pre-recorded messages, play music via Bluetooth, tune in to the radio... All of this is supported by redundant power systems and high-reliability components designed to operate under demanding conditions such as humidity and high noise levels.

Public safety for carefree enjoyment

With this solution, Sunrise Water Park strengthens its commitment to visitor well-being, combining leisure and safety in a carefully sound-designed environment.
