Sony TEOS and BRAVIA support Canon’s new installations in Europe.
Canon Medical Systems Europe (CMSE) has selected Pro Systems and Sony Professional Displays & Solutions Europe to supply displays and a workplace management solution for its new headquarters and academy in the Netherlands.
CMSE markets and services radiology and cardiovascular systems across Europe and has recently relocated its European headquarters to Amstelveen (The Netherlands) to meet the evolving needs of its workforce and introduce a new office concept that prioritizes collaboration and flexibility.
During the move, CMSE also unveiled its state-of-the-art Canon Medical Academy Europe, which will play a key role in talent development, fostering collaboration, and advancing medical knowledge for the benefit of society. As part of the relocation and the academy’s launch, CMSE’s support technology requirements and preferences were assessed, revealing the need for a centralized system for room booking, desk reservation, parking management, digital signage, and wireless presentation.
CMSE’s way of working has changed drastically in the post-pandemic world, and since introducing its dedicated training and education academy, they needed to update their workspaces to meet the needs of their medical professionals, says Pro Systems.
CMSE, which has relied on Pro Systems’ audiovisual solutions and services for over a decade, once again entrusted them to deploy Sony’s TEOS workplace management solutions for their scalability, ease of installation, and elegant design. TEOS gives CMSE full control over devices, signage, and content across the entire workplace ecosystem, from meeting rooms to reception areas.
In addition to TEOS, Pro Systems also installed 31 Sony professional BRAVIA displays (models BZ40H, BZ40L, and BZ30J) throughout the building for digital signage, wayfinding tools, and application presentations. The BRAVIA displays also feature a “DIDCOM Sim mode” that enables accurate viewing of X-ray images for non-diagnostic purposes—a critically important feature for the academy and user workspace. CMSE staff can present wirelessly via the TEOS mobile app, making meetings and content sharing easier than ever.
With Sony’s BRAVIA Supervisor tool, AV managers can remotely manage displays and update content as needed.
CMSE also uses TEOS workplace, room, and parking management modules, and the entire academy is equipped with reservation displays outside meeting rooms and training spaces.
It’s great to support CMSE with their move to a new headquarters and the opening of a new academy, which provides essential training for medical professionals. Our TEOS solution and BRAVIA displays are the perfect combination for organizations seeking an attractive workspace that not only looks great but also works seamlessly for all employees, says Adam Dover, Senior Director of Commercial and Corporate Marketing at Sony Europe.
