Leyard installation impresses in the Office of the Czech Public Defender of Rights.

In August 2023, the Office of the Public Defender of Rights decided that it was time to replace the fifteen-year-old projector and screen they had been using in the Otakar Motejl Hall since the Brno-based headquarters was created. Named after first Czech Ombudsman, the hall is used in a variety of ways, including case hearings, staff training and third party hires for conferences and events.

The Leyard MGP2.5 video wall chosen to replace the ageing hardware has wowed staff and visitors, creating a modern, reliable and timeless solution that will give the hall the value and functionality it requires.

The Public Defender of Rights, often known as the Ombudsman, has a wide scope of authority and since 2009 has acted in the role of the national equality body, responsible for equal treatment and protection against discrimination for all. Each year the office handles complaints from people about a wide range of issues, from healthcare and pensions to equality and public order. They also protect people with restricted freedom from ill-treatment and discrimination. With such important work being done, their display solution had to be elegant and functional.

AV Media Systems were approached by public request to provide a new display solution. The company are well versed in providing bespoke solutions for high profile clients with exacting specifications and this installation was no exception.
