Intelligent Lectern Systems BV (ILS) unveils its new ILS Synergy Plus line at InfoComm 2025.

These new products incorporate the most advanced and innovative features currently available on the market. For this reason, their lecterns are present in government institutions, educational centers, and major corporations around the world.

The new features can appear in individual ILS lecterns or be combined into a single unit:

• Immersive control: On the lectern console, up to 7 PC sources can be viewed and controlled simultaneously by touch on each host from a single screen, thanks to a hardware solution specially optimized for the 32-inch display model.
• High-end replacement for the Microsoft Surface Studio, integrated with touch, pen, and tilt control on a 27” display, with a powerful MFF PC featuring an i9 processor and nVidia chipset, built into the top section of the ILS Synergy.
• Integrated 32” front monitor, machined into the front profile of the lectern, with media control and internal space for three half-rack modules.

As always, the systems are built from solid aluminum blocks, plates, and special profiles, ensuring a lifespan of several decades. Each component is replaceable, making the systems adaptable to future technological advances. Additionally, ILS offers a buyback program for replaced aluminum parts, promoting the circular use of aluminum in new products.

The ILS Synergy+ GW32IC features an 8x8 switch board that receives signals from up to 7 sources and bundles them via hardware into a single ILS 4K monitor. A touch processor identifies which “real monitor” has been touched on the lectern screen and sends the coordinates to the corresponding source. Each source can be assigned to large or small areas within the total 4K surface.

With the growing demand for immersive environments, this system allows the presenter to control how all screens appear, creating an engaging experience from the lectern console. It is also designed for complex environments where multiple sources need to be monitored and updated from a single console. Future integration of AI tools to assist the user is also envisioned. Unused N inputs can function as an Nx6 matrix switcher.

The ILS Synergy+ GW-FD or QW-FD models feature a wider and deeper adjustable-height base, with a perfectly integrated frame – machined into the top and bottom profiles – for displaying logos or messages. This replaces engraved professional logos when multiple company or speaker logos or specific event information is required.

The system is configured to include an MFF PC, a control panel, a media player, and two DM devices in the top section, and now adds space for three additional half-rack devices. As always, speakers enjoy a comfortable and confident experience when presenting from an ILS Synergy lectern.

The ILS Synergy+ GW27T model was rapidly developed after Microsoft announced in December 2024 the discontinuation of its elegant Surface Studio system, which featured a large slim screen with pen and touch, as well as a built-in PC with 11th-gen i7 processor and nVidia chipset.

With nearly 100 installed systems in need of future upgrades and continuity, ILS decided to recreate the Surface Studio’s capabilities – at lower cost, with more options, and upgrade flexibility – by separating the screen from the PC module. A new 4K display with an ultra-slim profile (only 20 mm thick) was designed to fit into dozens of already-installed lecterns.

To ensure durability, the entire back of the monitor was machined from a 30 mm thick aluminum plate, providing a solid structure. An ergonomic edge was added to adjust the tilt and house a magnetic pen. Spring-loaded torque hinges allow the monitor to remain stable in any tilt position, optimizing its use with touch or pen.

The display delivers high contrast and brightness, and the PC section now supports high-performance specs, including an i9 14900T processor, nVidia RTX A1000 graphics, 32 GB RAM, and 1 TB SSD — all within a compact MFF form factor.
