The Catholic University of Lille chooses Sony to modernize its educational infrastructure.

The Université Catholique de Lille is modernizing its educational infrastructure by creating interactive teaching classrooms and implementing advanced technological solutions. 12 of the university's centers have undertaken this process to enhance the educational experience, promoting student engagement and participation.

High-performance solutions for learning

After seeing a compelling demonstration of Sony's visualization and technology integration solutions at ISE, the university decided to work with Sony to achieve this transformation through:

• Bravia Displays (BZ40L series): Their high image quality, brightness, and ultra-matte (47% haze) provide an unparalleled visual experience, significantly enhancing student work. The BRAVIA BZ40L series is designed for today's connected world and performs perfectly in demanding educational environments. The display incorporates many innovations from Sony, including the latest deep black technology without glare, to deliver bright 4K HDR images with high contrast, rich colors, and exceptional details. User-friendly professional features facilitate seamless content integration and sharing.
• PTZ Cameras (SRG-A12) for automated teacher monitoring. These cameras offer great flexibility and exceptional image quality, allowing teachers to move freely while remaining constantly focused and visible to students.
• High-Definition Projectors (VPL-PHZ51 and VPL-PHZ61) that ensure optimal quality for all types of educational content, whether text, images, or video.

We tested the tracking feature of the PTZ A40 camera with a teacher. The teacher ran around the auditorium trying to distract the camera, but it never lost sight of the subject. It was quite impressive, shares Vianney Delory, Learning Environments Manager.
