The event for smart cities wil take place from 19-21 November at Barcelona

Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) is now just a few weeks away! Running from 19-21 November, this event for cities will gather more than 25,000 visitorsand 1,000 exhibitors expected to take part. It will bring together corporate, government and academic leaders committed to sustainable, inclusive urban development.

The event will celebrate its 9th edition under the title Cities Made of Dreams. We will dare to keep dreaming of a smart urban revolution that strives for the cities we need: green, inclusive, liveable spaces that leave no one behind.

Smart City Expo World Congress 9th edition, event about smart cities and sustainable, inclusive urban development, will take place from 19-21 November at Fira de Barcelona.

On 20 November from 17.00 - 19.00, Digital Signage Summit ISE content chairman Florian Rotberg will moderate an SCEWC session about Digital Signage and Digital out of Home. This two-hour segment will discuss how out of home technology, sensors, digital touchpoints and content can enable cities to generate, process and distribute information. It will focus on strategies, best practice and business cases.

A session about Smart Buildings will be moderated by Smart Building Conference ISE content chairman Bob Snyder on 19 November from 17.00 -19.00. This session will dig into the smart city ecosystem to explain how smart building technology can drive cities closer to their goal of becoming smart cities. It will also explore the path of “big project” obstacles that face smart cities.
